Autumn Boho Disco ball Wedding at Dewsall Court

On a gorgeous sunny day in September, Siobhan and Teddy had the most incredible wedding at Dewsall Court. Filled with disco balls, epic florals and featuring a golden hour that was just dreamy. Basically it had everything I love about a September wedding. We merged two different design styles of boho, modern and romantic, which can be tricky. But I think we nailed it, you’ll want to keep scrolling through this stunning boho disco ball wedding at Deswall Court.

The Design

Siobhan and Teddy wanted support with the styling so we talked through the different spaces of the ceremony and wedding meal. For the ceremony they wanted it to be relaxed and minimal, boho rugs and simple dried flowers pampas, under the stretch tent on the lawn, with the beautiful surroundings.  The colour palette featured gorgeous terracotta, toffee, burnt orange and pink as the main colours, paired with lighter shades of pink and nude/champagne to compliment the design and feel of the boho disco retro vibe.

But for the wedding meal they wanted to make a statement with a hanging install. So we discussed hanging disco balls, gypsophila balls on the chandeliers, to really draw the eye into the space. I worked with the lovely florist Jasper and Quinn to create those cool chandeliers. The layout of the tables was going to be a big U Shape, which really helped to fill the space and draw you in. We had some end of the tables big floral and disco ball display to really take it from the floor to the ceiling. I loved how it all come together.

Ceremony

Siobhan wanted the ceremony to be minimal but with a touch of boho vibes. So we had a gorgeous stretch tent, with some boho rugs as a runner for the aisle. As well as some little touches of pampas grass to the space, as well as gorgeous violonist and celebrant ceremony. The main focus was the stunning view, which by keeping the ceremony simple it meant you could let the view be the main focus, and it created a gorgeous backdrop for them to say their vows.

Wedding meal

We opted for burnt orange knotted napkins to add to the relaxed vibe. As well as rustic wooden long tables, with nude runners. The stationery Siobhan designed herself, which had a retro feel and tied well with the other elements. The tables were filled with vintage cut glass candlestick holders, and a trio of warm amber, terracotta and pink candles. To add a pop of colour to the tables and work well with the mix textures of the bud vases.

The main focus of the room was the epic chandeliers which has disco balls and gyp balls, which created a statement focal point to the room. And added a fun element to the space.

And to finish the tables off, an epic statement meadow, with stunning spears and disco balls to take the design from floor to ceiling. And we also had the table for the entrance filled with photos of the couples family members, some disposable cameras which added such a lovely personal touch.

The Details

Their wedding was true reflection of them through their outfits, to the UK Garage music they had playing in the evening. It was captured beautifully by We are the Chamberlins and Ayoka Weddings and just proves you can blend two different styles, to create a unique and personality filled wedding.

Siobhan and Teddy’s wedding had so many gorgeous details, and with clever design had some many moments throughout the venue and day. It felt like a true reflection on them!

Big love
