With the weather getting better and the sun shining, outdoor weddings become more popular. There is nothing better than enjoying the glorious weather! I’ll be sharing some outdoor wedding ideas and inspiration. But one thing I will say is make sure you have a back up plan, or a wet weather plan. Whilst we all hope for a dry day it is England and the weather is the most un predictable thing. Here’s some my top 5 outdoor wedding ideas.
1) Alternative seating
Why not opt for benches or lounge seating for your ceremony instead of chairs? Make it comfy for your guests, and it will hopefully mean they all get a better view. You can use the seats for a cosy outdoor seating area as well for the drinks reception.
2)Ceremony Backdrops
An outdoor ceremony is the perfect opportunity to go all out with a stunning backdrop, and decorate it to add a wow element to say your vows. I have a fantastic selection of bold and unique backdrops you can check out here.
3) Hanging decor
There are so many great ways to add personal touches, and hanging decor is definitely one of them. You can add guests names on card hanging from trees, or add natural elements like foliage hanging decor like greenery/flower hoops which can create an amazing wow factor.
4) Lighting
Don’t forgot to add some amazing lighting not only so guests can see where they are walking, but it’s a great way to add a cosy and magical setting. You can never have too much lighting so mix it up with festoon lights, as well as hurricane lanterns or hanging lights from trees or even a tunnel full of lights.
5) Installations
If you really want to create the wow factor an installation in the perfect way to achieve this. You can really be creative from flower walls to hanging disco balls from above the tables to create a fun vibe. There are so many different ways you can achieve it.
